CNET NEWS: More attacks expected on Facebook, Twitter
Everything has got its pros and cons and the more people who have access to something, the greater the likelihood something will go wrong. Sometimes that happens unintentionally, but there are those who like to mess things up on purpose. Don't ask me why; I guess simply because they can or like to have control.
The Internet is no exception and from the very beginning viruses and hackers have tried to ruin it. It has reached a point now where it seems like history is repeating itself. It is already in the process according to the following headline: CNET NEWS: Reinventing the MacBook Air. I can only suspect this MacBook operates by sending out smoke signals.
Those smoke signals will eventually be intercepted and/or altered as well. I see more success coming from this: CNET NEWS: Verizon sees rise of 'slate' computers in 2010. At least we will be doing the hacking and whacking ourselves and it would cost too much time, strength and trouble to intercept, alter or take over this means of communication; slate is pretty heavy.
It does also mean that we have to get our hammer and chisel out; we are heading back to the Stone Age. I already pity the postman!
