CNN: GE to supply largest wind farm
In my humble opinion: that is great. I am all for alternative energy sources; it is less taxing on the environment and could be a lot cheaper. At least in the long run it may turn out to be cheaper. Right now, taking in consideration that this wind farm has to be set up first before it is fully operational, we might be left to twist in the wind.
This new wind farm is also extremely beneficial for the economy; it will create many more jobs. Lots of personnel are absolutely necessary if they want to catch enough wind and convert it in to useful energy. I am not sure how GE intends to do that. They must have found a solution though; otherwise this farm would not see the light of day.
One thing is for sure: their workers are assured of at least one meal a day. The meals are probably consisting of beans, onions, garlic and other gas producing foods, because a lot of wind has to be broken in order to make this wind farm profitable.
That kind of makes me wonder what the letters GE really stand for: Gassy Energy? I guess we will know when we are being supplied with this new source of energy.
It may have some odor to it!
