ABC: Lobbyists Furiously Lobby White House to Preserve Lobbyist Power

I suppose they are trying to preserve their jobs by doing a good job. Odd, isn't it? They suddenly know how to do their work to a tee when it is on the line. It makes me wonder what they have been doing all that time. Nah, I think I already know; why give it your best when you can get by doing as less as possible?

So now, they are pestering the White House until they are blue in the face. Some may see red and others may turn green, but it ain't over until the fat lady sings. Or, in this case, until Obama has spoken.

They may not have been aware of the fact that they had the power all along. If those lobbyists had done an excellent job in the first place, their position would probably not have been questioned.

I hope it turns out well for them. I do wonder though; in case their jobs are being 'preserved' and they would be allowed to keep them, do you think they would have to present...
