CNN: Health care talks go informal route

I wonder why these health care talks are going that direction. The only reason I can come up with is to avoid the traffic jam that is blocking the formal route and everyone is looking for back roads to reach their goal anyway.

It certainly puts an end to the expression; ' It is either my way, or the highway' and eliminates stumbling over all the feet which are being put down. There are negative consequences to traveling the back roads though; they are usually dirt roads.

That means one has to keep an eye out for road bumps and potholes, otherwise the following will occur: ABC: ANOTHER DEM BITES THE DUST: Dodd Out as Exodus Continues. I can only suspect that the reason for calling it an Exodus is because most dirt roads lead to nowhere.

I do have my doubts though as to whether this is what is really going on or not. When I read this headline in Sphere News: Dodd Is Latest Democrat to Announce Retirement, it does not seem to be an informal route anymore.

It comes across like this is the road of least resistance!
