FOX NEWS: Pick Up, It's Your Congressman Calling

According to the article this is 'the reality for constituents of Congressman Timothy Johnson (R), who represents Illinois' 15th district'.

I am not so sure they are too happy with Mr. Johnson's calls though, because the same article makes mention of the following fact: 'Johnson makes calls seven days a week, stopping only on Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. He insists that he waits until the afternoon to call, so he doesn't disturb a constituent's morning'.

Yeah, as if getting a call every afternoon or evening is such a wonderful thing. I suspect that it will not even take a week before a person is sick and tired of Mr. Johnson calls and won't even pick up anymore.

I can see however how this tactic would work in Timothy Johnson's advantage though: in order to finally get the man to quit calling, they vote for him. Mr. Johnson would be so pleased with that result and so would his constituents. It sure works both ways.

Doesn't that have a nice ring to it?!
