ABC: Picky Eating: A Medical Condition?

The media has 'food' written all over it today and I will share a few of the headlines and my opinions on them with you.

As far as the picky eating is concerned; I don't believe it to be a medical condition. The fact remains however; picky eaters are not born, they are made!

That does not necessarily mean that you can undo it by forcing them to go ABC: Dumpster Diving on Park Avenue. The fact remains however; when they get hungry enough, they will eat anything.

It will also give them a sense of accomplishment having to work for a meal; ABC: WATCH: Highway Comic Sells Jokes for Food. The fact remains however; they are still long ways away from bringing home the bacon.

Some picky eaters may already be too far gone and are loosing it and loosing out; CNN: Drive-thru meltdown over McNuggets. The fact remains however; they are a few fries short of a Happy Meal.

There's no accounting for taste though and eateries try to be accommodating: CBS: Pop-Tarts Restaurant: 4 Crazy Treats on Menu. The fact remains however; they are sustaining picky eaters by handing it to them on a silver platter.

Then again, no one likes something to be shoved down their throats: MSNBC: Do your civic duty: Eat this fish! The fact remains however; if not being careful cleaning this fish, one could end up with a medical condition.

We better be picky about what to eat.... and we just came full circle. The fact remains however: is picky eating a medical condition?

We can sink our teeth in this food for thought!
