CNN: Lindsay Lohan's career of wrong turns

Lindsay Lohan's career may have taken some really wrong turns, but she was the one behind the wheel. She could have pulled in to a San Francisco auto repair shop anytime she needed, but like most women she 'felt' like she was doing well, knew best, and kept on going. The result is that one morning she woke up in a huge mess.

I think calling it a 'nightmare' is more appropriate; a mess can be cleaned up, but getting out of a nightmare takes a little more work and will power. It is not as simple as changing a timing belt; it is more like replacing everything else after you have been driving around with it for way too long and it finally broke.

Maybe Lindsay has learned from all her mistakes and will quit running around without a road map. I sincerely hope she is able to resume her promising career. Maybe she ought to have a GPS installed and take her honda accord around the block a couple of times so she can get used to it. This may prevent her from taking off in the wrong direction again.

Yeah, I really hope she gets her act together!
