ABC: BP CHIEF GETS LIFE BACK: Attends Yacht Race as Oil Spews in Gulf

I can not for the life of me understand how he can enjoy this yacht race with a clear conscious. How can someone set all that aside and not look back? Oh, he will look over his shoulders every now and then, but just to see whether the competitors are catching up with him.

It must be a great relief to be shed of all the responsibility and get his life back, while the oil threatens all marine life in the Gulf. It must be a great relief to be shed of all the responsibility and get his life back, while business owners on the Gulf Coast are facing having to close shop and trying to figure out how to go on with their life.

I suspect he would not have attended this race if it had been held in the Gulf and his yacht could be soiled with the oil of his own company. Oh well, what goes around, comes around. I hope this will never happen, for his sake; if he already can't handle this oil spill, then he certainly couldn't handle that.

At least he has got his life back, while everything and everyone else is hanging on for dear life!
