Newsweek: What L.A. might look like in 2030

The year: 2030.
The place: Los Angeles, United States.
Population: none.

Actually, it would not matter which place on earth you would pick in the year 2030; any place, town and city would be totally abandoned. What would be seen is the decay from 18 years of being without people.

Streets and buildings are overgrown by vegetation because Mother Nature is reclaiming what was taken from her by the hands of men. Structures are starting to fall apart and wildlife roams the streets freely.

Why? Well, in case you haven't heard yet: the End of Days is predicted to be on December 21, 2012. Therefore, it would be rather futile to worry what L.A., or anything else for that matter, might look like in 2030, wouldn't it?

Hmmm, I might save myself a lot of money by no longer buying any anti-wrinkle creams. There is nothing to look at after 2012 anyway!
