Yahoo!: Lessons from extreme 'cheapskates'

There is no doubt in my mind that we can learn a lot from these experts and save ourselves a bunch of money. The question that won't leave my mind though is why we don't seek the advice from professionals when it is most needed.

I am in particular thinking about how many businesses handle their financial dealings and cope with the related problems they encounter. Most of them present them to their bank and let them handle it and that could be a costly mistake.

Not every financial institution is experienced enough to come up with the best chemical mergers and acquisitions solutions which will benefit both your company and your budget. On the contrary; it could cause more trouble down the road then you bargained for.

A general bank only has a general idea, but a chemical investment bank specializes in these matters, knows the ins and outs, and has every ability, knowledge, and skill available to advise their clients according to their business needs and requirements.

You don't go to a gas station to get a flu shot, so why go to just any bank and expect professional chemical advisory? That doesn't make any sense, does it? You know better now and it is up to you to apply it.

And that concludes the lesson for today!
