ABC NEWS: WATCH: Smash and Grab ... an Entire ATM

We all know what ATM stands for: Access To Money. Ever since those machines came out, I had wanted to own one. Unfortunately, I could never get them off the wall.

They sure are much easier to maintain then a cash-cow. Not that I have found one of those either, yet. To care for a species like that, one would have to have a large field, feed it every day, have it checked up by the vet on a regular base and go through the trouble of milking it. Not to mention, that you have no clue what to expect, when milking it. Maybe just some petty cash might come out.

I tried growing a money tree. No luck so far. The $20 I planted so carefully, would not sprout. After several months of tender, loving care, fertilizing and watering, I dug it up to see, if anything was happening at all. There sure was. It was greener then before, due to mold. No roots though, so I gave up on it.

I never considered smashing an ATM and taking it home. I sure can understand one would want to take the entire machine home. Suppose, one would only take a part and it would turn out to be the wrong one. You know what that would mean, huh?

Another no go for the cash-flow!
