ABC: Toyota's Recall Leaves Drivers in the Dark

That is an indication that it is time for Toyota to shine a light on the subject. Right now, there is way too much confusion about the what and how and seeing the headlines in the media it is impossible to tell who or what to believe.

Previous reports indicated that the gas pedal had a problem and according to CBS: Toyota: We Fixed the Gas Pedal Problem. Oh good, so we are in the clear then. Ehhh.... no, not really because then I read ABC: Toyota Supplier Says Sticky Gas Pedals Not the Problem.

If the gas pedals were not the problem, then what on earth did Toyota fix?? More prevalent would be the question why the cars were then recalled in the first place? Oh, forgive my ignorance; CNN: Toyota recall explained. Wonderful! At least there is some light at the end of the tunnel.

For whom? I don't know because I am still wandering around in the pitch dark. I would suggest to Toyota owners to not even try anymore giving it a shot in the dark; they may end up shooting themselves in the foot and that would be very inconvenient at this moment.

Being without a car and all!

This whole issue has an odor to it! Where does a Camry owner/leaser stand? I'm paying my payments on a defective care..which I thought was the best on the market in this price range. Am I safe in my car. I received a notice to remove my front driver's floor mat and did..Nothing more about a fix with that! Now the faulty gas pedal! Please someone step up to the plate and fix this problem before I get hurt. What to do if it gets stuck..I only saw this on the news...Who can one trust ???
