CBS: $25M in stolen sparklers wash up in Paris sewer

You talk about being blinded by the light! I have a great suspicion all those sparkles dazzled all those who were in their vicinity and stirred up a lot of excitement among their beholders.

Since it was all so unexpected, all those sparkles must have set off a lot of commotion and enticed many sparks to fly back and forth. Everyone wanted to be as close as possible, so not one sparkle would be darkened from their view.

How those sparkles got in to the sewers is everyone's guess, but it certainly was not a very bright spark who flushed them down the drain. They must not have been worth very much to that person, but it sure made for a nice little firework display on the streets.

Oh well, I think we all know the expression: One man's trash is another man's treasure!
