CNN: Driving tax coming?

When we think we have seen it all and it can't get any worse, there is something else heading our way and it isn't very pleasant, as usual; a driving tax.

Yeah, like we needed that on top of the already expensive costs of living. Just the idea already drives me around the bend. Driving will be reduced to a necessity and we will think twice before we decide to take a spin for pleasure, because every mile is going to cost us.

It makes one wonder what's next: a walking tax? A sleeping tax? How about a breathing tax? Does that sound crazy? Well, so does this possible new tax to me. I hope this 'genius' idea will not get a foot in the door and come to fruition. My guess is that is idle hope and once that has gone through, more will follow.

Give them an inch and they will take a mile. Let me correct that: give them a mile and they will tax an inch!
