CNN: Obama appeals to middle class

That sounds too familiar; it is like history is about to repeat itself and it didn't even happen that long ago. It is getting old though and I hope the occurrences are still rather fresh in everyone's memory, so we can prevent it from happening this time.

It sure takes guts trying to pull the same stunt twice and it is understandable Obama is appealing to the middle class; it is the majority of the people and that is where the money has to come from. Thanks, but no thanks! We are still trying to pick the wool out of our eyes from last time.

Maybe that is what he is counting on; we are so frazzled and dazzled that we agree to and support anything in order to get our bearings. People wise up however and are certainly not in for sealing their own doom again. Fool us once; shame on you. Fool us twice; shame on us.

I don't know about you, but that sure doesn't sound very appealing to me!
