CBS: Obama to Scrap Missile Shield Plan

I suppose that means the plan has been thrown on the scrap heap and will soon go through the shredder? I can only imagine how horrible it must feel to have your plan blown to pieces. Oh well, a man has got to do, what a man has got to do or in this case the president.

One piece of advice would be in order: they better scrap it good! There are already others lurking in the background to get their hands on it; The New York Times: Following Trash and Recyclables on Their Journey. One man's trash is another man's treasure, huh?

The best thing to prevent it from falling in to the wrong hands would be to let it go up in smoke. It already got burned and his feet are already held to the fire, so Obama might as well take a match to it.

I actually don't think any of the above will be the case. I have a hunch that Obama is going to save it for posterity as a souvenir of his time as president. As the headline already indicates, he is going to scrap it. Well, maybe Barack Obama himself may not, but Michelle might which is more likely.

She comes across as someone who likes scrap booking!
