ABC: Windows 7 Born from Vista's Frustrations

I can only suspect that was the whole intent of launching Vista; come out with something new, get people to buy and use it and then develop a new one. By the time the new operating system comes out, people are so frustrated, they will gladly spend their money again.

In case you had no clue (I didn't), here is the meaning of Vista:

1 a pleasing view, especially one seen through a long, narrow opening.
2 a mental view of an imagined future event or situation.

Oh, the view of the creators of Vista must have been pleasant; they saw dollar signs at the end of the long and narrow opening. We could not even see the light of day.

As far as the mental view goes: they saw a perfectly sane, financial future for themselves. We were driven insane by frustration.

I think I will wait before purchasing Windows 7 and see what reviews it will generate. I have a great suspicion Windows 8 might already be in the makings.

Yeah, lesson learned; a little window shopping goes long ways. At least it will save me from ending up with a cat in a bag and waving at our hard earned money while it goes out the windows:
