CNET NEWS: All about the Apple iPad
If you are all hyped up about this new wonder of technology and can't wait to get your hands on it, then that is too bad; you will have to wait for about another month before it hits the stores. On April 3rd to be precise, it will be available to the public.
I am not so sure what to think of this larger version of the iPhone. Even though it may have a few more features and a better and expanded performance then its smaller cousin, it does not seem very handy to me.
Right of the bat: no carrying handle. That means we have got to purchase a case with it when we want to haul it around. Second: it lays flat on a surface. That does not seem very convenient to me and I anticipate lots of back pains.
Add to the second objection the glare which is caught and reflected much easier on a flat laying object and you can imagine that this may be a cause for high blood pressure due to frustration and aggravation.
You can easily find out whether you would like spending your money on an iPad or not, by opening your laptop and putting the screen flat on your desk. Work with that for a little while and see how you like it. No, you may not have a touch screen, but I suspect the experience will be touching.
A raw nerve!
