CBS: Senate Passes Wall Street Regulation Bill
The entire process and passing of this bill reminded me of the following:
It has been brewing and building up for a while. The matter is getting rather embarrassing and something has got to give. The resources are getting slimmer by the minute and, in spite of repeated and intense efforts, nothing has come of it.
No amount of determination and commitment has any of the desired results. The more force being applied, the greater the resistance and all the hard labor turns out to be in vain. The consequences are stacking up and becoming more and more painful.
There is only one option left; take away the power of the system and override it. This drastic measure will get the job done and even though there may be some internal turmoil, it will eventually settle down and everything is a little more under control then before.
In case you haven't figured it out yet; what I just described were the symptoms and consequences of bloating and constipation. They are quite similar to the entire process of passing this bill, aren't they? Maybe that is why it is called the 'Regulation' Bill?
Even the end result shows huge signs of similarity: it stinks!
