The New York Times: film: Apes From the Future, Holding a Mirror to Today
With so many new movies being released, it is hard to determine which one has the preference of the audience, but this headline sure made me curious.
I am not so sure what the author of the article is referring to in specific, but if he means that there is a lot of monkeying around going on, then we can probably all agree to that.
Should you need a little more evidence and/or convincing of the latter then simply take a look at the debt debates. It doesn't seem like many of those involved are aware of the serious aspect of the matter.
All the appearances are that it has boiled down to establishing hierarchy and dominance and who can put their foot down longest or how to throw a monkey wrench in the works.
The longer it takes finding a good solution to the problem, the worse it will be on all of us. We can be assured of the fact that once all is said and done, we have another burden to carry around with us.
The weight of the monkey on our shoulders!
