ABC: Boehner Rewriting Debt Limit Plan as Clock Ticks

There is nothing more stressing then trying to beat the clock. The unrelenting hands of time will not leave anyone of the hook and keep on plugging away: tick-tack, tick-tack. The monotone sound can be soothing at times, but in this case it I can imagine it is more then enough to drive someone nuts.

If that sound doesn't tick you off, then how about the sound of this:
ABC: DEBT DEFAULT: How Soon Could the Country Recover?
Time will tell; tick-tack, tick-tack.

ABC: DEBT TALKS: Have You Called Washington?
Don't even bother. With so many people calling already, you will likely be put on hold; tick-tack, tick-tack.

ABC: Debt Ceiling Debate: Who's Right?
Given time, we will find out; tick-tack, tick-tack.

CBS: Will Obama approve debt plan without tax hikes?
Hoping for that may turn out to be another waste of time; tick-tack, tick-tack.

The New York Times: U.S. May Be Able to Pay Bills After Deadline
Oh really??? Okay, time-out! The clock keeps on ticking for the government, but stops dead in its tracks for us, the second the deadline is met? I am having a hard time with that and need some time to digest that; tick-tack, tick-tack.

CNN: Busy signals on Capitol Hill
No wonder, because they have got a ticking time bomb on their hands; tick-tack, tick-tack...: time's up. Kaboom!

Better luck, next time!
