CBS: Eric Cantor: No one wants to pay higher taxes

It seems like somebody just had an epiphany. Yup, Mr. Cantor is right; we sure don't want to pay higher taxes. As a matter of fact, we don't want to pay any taxes at all if possible, but we all know that is not ever going to happen.

We can hope for it though, because where there is hope, there is life. Or at least one would suspect so, but the way our economy is heading, it seems to have the contrary effect. Even the leader of our nation has become aware of that fact: Yahoo!: Obama: Nation's middle class at risk.

It is in his power to do something about it by alleviating the burdens. My guess is that this is one of the other 'never-going-to-happen' hopes, so I won't get it up even the least little bit. He sure would be making a lot of points by doing so though.

Oh well, it is nice dreaming about and hoping for it, as long as we accept it will never come to fruition and don't loose touch with reality by keeping in mind that's all it is and always will be.

Just another pipe-dream!
