CNN: Kid gets stuck in gumball machine

You talk about the kid in a candy-store; well, that's him. The poor little critter simply couldn't resist the temptation of all those yummy goodies being right in front of his eyes and, most of all, within reach.

We all know, or should know by now, that kids manage to do the impossible and where there is a will there is a way. Give them a finger and they take the entire hand, but they are ignorant enough to risk their own as well and that opening in front of the machine was his ticket to free gumballs.

It got a little out of hand when that small extremity managed to get a hold of a handful of gumballs and then refused to come out. The machine got the upper hand and wasn't going to hand back without a fight what was so easily and willingly put in there.

It took many helping hands to make light work of giving the child back its freedom, but with some (elbow) grease and patience they managed to release him. I have a slight suspicion he is not going to try his hands at reaching for the gumballs again.

Then again, you never know with kids; they may or may not throw in their hand!
