The Scoop

There is so much going on in the world, I don't know where to start. Therefore, I decided to give you my view on some scoops that caught my eye and prompted an instant comment.

ABC: Sinkholes: Are You at Risk?
Don't ask me; ask the girl who was suddenly swallowed up by an unsuspected sinkhole under the side walk.

ABC: Woman Has Stolen More Than 100 iPads.
She must not have been aware of the fact that you can load more then one app on an iPad.

CNN: New app tells you if you're ugly.
That explains the previous headline: she must not have been aware of the fact that the outcome was not due to a malfunctioning iPad.

Fox News: Pottery given to Goodwill may well be prehistoric.
There you have it; one man's trash is another man's treasure.

MSNBC: Own an Irish island for less than $1 million.
No problem. Just tell me where to find some of that Irish luck in order to lay my hands on that million.

MSNBC: National Christmas Tree dies of shock.
I always suspected it would eventually have a shocking effect loading that tree up with too many Christmas lights.

Yahoo!: ‘Loch Ness Monster’ ordered to leave Wisconsin river.
There is no place like home. I hope they put up directions for the lost critter: Home ----->

Yahoo!: Ostrich escapes onto busy highway.
I sure hope the ostrich didn't get scared by all those cars flying by and tried to stick its head in the sand; it would have hit the road. Oh wait, it already did!
