CNN: Verizon to end unlimited data plans
That sounds all too familiar; just when you think you came up with a plan that suits your needs, caters to your requirements and gives you the best bang for your buck, it is cut short. Isn't that the way it normally goes in the overall scheme of almost everything that works in our benefit?
We should have known there would soon be clouds hanging over the horizon, but I don't think anyone had expected them to appear this quick. Verizon better gets a huge umbrella out, because it will be raining complaints and rightfully so.
Now, you got to start all over and wade through all the service providers again. Oh sure, it probably said so in the fine print which was included in the contract; the service provider reserves the rights to change and/or terminate any plan at any time at their will and convenience.
Oh well, we could have known that when it sounds too good to be true, it is either not true, or very short lived. One thing Verizon made crystal clear to us, which we should always keep in the back of our minds:
There is a limit to unlimited!
