CBS: Schools beef up security nationwide after Newtown

I don't think there is one single person whose heart doesn't go out to the families of all whose lives were taken away so violently. There is so much I want to say to those afflicted, but then again, there is so little one can say.

It is so sad and, just like all those previous shootings, should never have happened. Words fall short. They would probably be of little consolation anyway. All you can do is pray for them and somehow let them know you are there for them whenever they want and/or need.

As far as 'beefing up' the security goes, it will definitely be a help, but is unfortunately after the fact. It should have been done from the beginning and kept up to date. It is not going to undo what already has been done though. Nothing can bring back any of their loved ones.

I am so sorry for this great loss. God bless all of you!
