ABC: Grinch Steals Christmas Decorations

I don't have much time to scour the media lately, because it is that time of the year where there are a million things to do and take care of, but I suspect I am preaching to the choir and elaboration is unnecessary.

When I do get around to the headlines, there are so many that catch my eye. Take the one in the title of this post for example. There is more to it then meets the eyes. Agreed, nothing will meet the eye anymore after that Grinch is through with it, but it is not just the decorations you have to guard.

That same Grinch is also on the look out for parcels left on your doorstep or dropped off behind the bushes by the delivery companies. In case you ordered something online, but never found anything at or near the door, you can pretty much assume it ended up in the wrong hands.

So, the carefully put out Christmas decorations disappeared over night and the thoughtfully picked out, ordered, and paid for Christmas presents never made it under the tree. It seems to me that, unfortunately, the goal was beyond a shadow of a doubt achieved successfully.

The Grinch stole Christmas!
