CNN: FDA proposes e-cigarette regulations

We should have known that this was only a matter of time. Just when we think we are in the clear and can finally enjoy something which seemingly isn't as bad for you as regular tobacco products, our dreams go up in smoke.

We all know where the road leads to from here. It is no rocket science; first come the regulations, next are the taxes, and finally a ban will be issued. The same happened with the genuine tobacco products and the e-cigarettes will be following suit.

I don't really get it. It is like they don't want you to enjoy anything, because it is unhealthy. Tobacco is pretty much banned and smoking is highly frowned upon. Fatty and sugary foods are barely tolerated on the menu, and now they are going after the cigarette substitute.

On the other hand; Marijuana is legalized. Yeah, as if that doesn't present any health problems. I am not sure what is going on. It seems like they want to dope us up, in which case we may not have a notion of how life is slowly but surely turning into a miserable situation.

I wonder what will be next. Don't be surprised when another law is issued and we are mandated to wear rose-colored glasses.
