CNN: Senator shows up at wrong hearing

I came across a few headlines this morning which prompted my brain to an immediate response. The one in the title of this post was first and the thought that at least everyone found out this senator was at the wrong hearing crossed my mind.

That sure is a major improvement when you consider all the other hearings where the right people show up at the right hearing without having or planning to say anything, or pretend they know nothing. Those are the hearings which are just a waste of time and tax payers' money.

It would simply be best to forego those by applying the 'ask no questions and hear no lies' policy. You could bring up the fact we might never find out the truth, but consider how much they have brought to light so far!

The next headline was CBS: $1,000-a-day miracle drug shocks U.S. health care system. I agree that is a substantial amount of money, but why does that shock our nation's health care system?

They sure don't mind spending billions of dollars on a system that still doesn't work. That doesn't seem to faze them. I on the other hand find that to be the real shocker.
