CNN: Reason you look weird in selfies

It is not just the selfies. I have noticed that I look weird in any picture, even if the picture is taken by someone else. According to the article, it has to do with our self-perspective.

We believe we look a certain way, but that image is being shattered when we see ourselves through the eyes of the camera. If you want to know how a stranger sees you then take a picture. Be prepared to what you will behold. It might be a real shocker.

You may wonder what is wrong with that picture. Nothing, except that you are in it and it simply doesn't look like you. Or so you believe. I hate to break the news, but it is you and that is how you come across to others.

It is the same when you record your voice and listen to it. It doesn't sound the same way as you hear yourself. You may like it or not, but that is exactly how other people perceive you though.

It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. We may as well accept that and the fact that we will always look weird according to our own perception. Do you know what the worst part is?
