CNN: Fans get back to roof Beatles last played

I never understood, why The Beatles had to play on a roof. I can only suspect, they did not have a roof over their heads, or it would save them from all the expenses of having to set up a stage?

That last is very likely as well. It takes quite some money to arrange a concert. I can see someone hit the roof, after taking a look at the amount it would take.

I can't remember, whether it was a hot, the day the concert took place. It must have been sunny, otherwise I don't think they would have gone through with it. Since I did not see them jump around like cats on a hot tin roof, we can safely assume, the roof was made out of an other material.

Anyway, the point here is, that I would like to caution against too much enthusiasm. Over-reacting can have some nasty consequences. It would be better, if that enthusiasm is contained some.

Before it goes through the roof!
