ABC NEWS: PHOTOS: Who's the Chihuahua Fan?
It kind of makes me wonder though, what happened to Ol' Yeller, Lassie and Rin Tin Tin? Those were the kind of 'brand' dogs one used to have as pets, in the old days.
It seems many people are fans of Chihuahuas, otherwise I don't think they would have starred those little critters in a movie. Maybe they made the movie to gain more popularity for this breed?
More and more people own a dog. I suppose that happens, CNN: When women bring home the bacon. It's not cheap to have a pet. Food, rabies shots, de-wormers, flea-treatments, etc., it all ads up.
After having spent all that money on the purchase of the miniature dog and all the extra costs, it probably would be wise to FOX NEWS: Enter the Earmarks. You would not want it to get stolen, or lost.
Don't get me wrong. I like those mini dogs. I think they are cute and adorable. The only complaint I have is, that I usually find out too late, that people have one of them around.
I would advise the owners to put up a warning sign at their front door:
Beware of the dog.
Don't step on it!
