FOX NEWS: Scientists Step Closer to Making Invisibility Cloak

Now you see it; now you don't. It sounds almost like the health care bill, doesn't it? Incredible, how scientists are and already have been able to create so many gadgets and items which were only science fiction not too long ago.

Reading the comic books from about 40 - 50 years ago is almost like looking in to the future. I don't think that the authors knew they were not only predicting the future, but also determining the course of our technological and scientific development.

Wait, that last statement is rather confusing. It would probably be better to say that they made the future. If it had not been for their creative imagination, those things would probably never have presented a challenge turning them in to reality.

That would make the authors trend-setters and the 'inventor' of the invisibility cloak a fashion designer. I suppose all we have to do is dig through those comic books to know what to expect in the future.

I am frantically trying to remember if I ever read something about money trees growing in yards? Maybe an idea for a comic book and something else for scientists to ponder on? I would not mind fertilizing and putting forth some effort in growing it. I am already looking forward to harvest time.

Yes, $20 bills would be fine!
