CNN: Tranquilized bear falls asleep in tree

I hope the animal doesn't wake up bearing a grudge; it should have expected roaming around in a neighborhood was more then the residents could bear and wouldn't go over too well.

Even being hungry as a bear didn't trigger the response the critter might have borne in mind. On the contrary; instead of bearing fruit, it prompted to bear arms and the people loaded for bear.

Trying to chase it away didn't help at all and only caused the animal's mood being as gruff as a bear. It had to bear the brunt of its actions and in no time it was as busy as a hibernating bear.

My guess is that once it regains consciousness, it is not going to be a happy camper; it will be like a bear with a sore head. You could say it has to grin and bear it, but I have a slight suspicion it could use something else:

A big ole' bear hug!
