CBS: Biggest solar flare in years as sun erupts
There is really nothing new under the sun; these solar flares have been happening ever since the sun has lit up our skies and occur on a regular basis. We may be more aware of them now due to our modern technology and the inconvenience these solar flares may spark.
Yes, our communication systems may be affected by them and that can cause some problems and probably a lot of frustration and aggravation, but it is only temporary and not on a world wide scale. I suppose we ought to be grateful for that.
On the other hand, some of us who would never have the opportunity to see the aurora borealis may get the chance of a lifetime and admire this light show: MSNBC: Glorious! Northern lights captured on video.
Even though scientists, meteorologists and researchers already saw this coming, it was striking to read that CNN: Nintendo unveils 'Flame Red' 3DS. It made me wonder if this was just a fluke or if they had for-knowledge?
If it is the latter, then we better keep an eye on what else they are about to unveil. It could be a clue about what is in store for us in the near future. If so, they may want to consider taking on another name:
