ABC: Happy Feet Penguin Missing

I am not like all those doom thinkers who suspect the little critter has been devoured by a whale. I rather think it took up residency in warmer waters then the icy cold Antarctic waters where it is supposed to live.

If that is the case then I don't blame the penguin one bit. My feet would not appreciate it either, having to walk and stand on all that snow and ice and I certainly wouldn't consider them to be 'happy feet'.

Maybe that is what started the whole 'happy feet' hype: the penguin had to tap-dance in order to keep its feet from freezing to the ground. I also wouldn't be surprised if that was the reason why it showed up in the Southern Ocean; all that dancing wears you out pretty quick.

I like to think it is healthy and happy and will show up when we least expect it. I wouldn't be surprised if we would be able to watch it on TV soon.
