I am not surprised it outranked the other movies by far; I saw the commercials for this movie on TV and I have to admit it piqued my interest as well and I sure would like to see it.
For some reason, disaster movies always seem to appeal to many people. I suppose we all can somehow relate to or imagine what it would be like if this became reality. It may well be it addresses the fear of an occurrence like this, which is hidden deep inside of us.
Whether we like to accept it, or not, it could happen and we should be prepared for when it does. This movie could alert all the scrubs and prod them to come up with a plan, ensuring everyone would know what to do when disaster strikes.
This does not just pertain to doctors and nurses, but to researches and lab personnel as well. They better be ready to get on the ball right away when necessary and make sure they have enough uniforms from http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/ handy, to minimize spreading the virus as best as possible.
I kind of anticipate they already have a plan, but it couldn't hurt to go over it again. Disaster always strikes when you least expect it!
