CBS: "What are continents?"
It is hard for me to accept that a person really has no clue what a continent is and it makes me wonder what would have gotten a hold of that individual's attention when that subject came up in elementary school.
A continent is one of the main masses of land of the earth and for those of you who like to know, there are seven continents; Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America.
Each one of those continents has something to offer which you will not or hardly find on another. Take South America for example and Peru in specific; you should attend one of the Machu Picchu Tours and visit the ruins of a 15th century Inca estate in the Urubamba Valley.
Sure, you can visit ruins everywhere, but how often do you find them on top of a mountain ridge, 8,040 ft above sea level? Not often and it would be a chore getting there, but the Machu Picchu Tours will take you there without any problems.
