CNN: Will Apple put airbags on iPhones?

Now, why would they want to do that? It seems to me that the airbags in the car should be sufficient, because that is where those phones are causing the most dangerous situations, damage and injuries.

Outside of the enclosed environment of the vehicle it may not be such a bad idea to have some built-in airbags on the iPhones; texting while walking has probably resulted in many head injuries, due to running into all kinds of obstacles.

On second thought, Apple may have come up with a luminous idea. Even when sitting on a chair or couch and using your iPhone for surfing the Internet you are not safe, let alone when trying to listen and participate in a simple phone conversation.

You never know what you may be confronted or slapped in the face with. It can be rather shocking at times!
