MSNBC: 'Life-threatening' heat warning across much of US

The weather is definitely heating up and if we can stand the heat then the best thing to do is to avoid it all together by remaining inside and enjoying the cool air provided by our air-conditioning.

Even without the sun heating up our nation to unbearable, dangerous temperatures, we may need to cool off anyway. All those political occurrences, debates and investigations are likely to heat us up to a boiling point and that is not very advantageous to our health either.

Common sense would tell us that if we can't stand the heat, we better get out of the kitchen, but unfortunately there is no escape. No matter where we go, or what we do; we are constantly confronted with the consequences and results.

The heat is on and you don't need to look far to find confirmation; the housing bubble, health care, unemployment rates, and most of all our shrunken budget, are good examples of all that and the heat is still not letting up.

Now that I come to think of it, it just crossed my mind that we may not be taking the heat, although the situation we find ourselves in is just as life-threatening.

We are left out in the cold!
