CNN: $50M in diamonds stolen in 3 minutes

I can not even begin to imagine what $50 million would look like. The value those diamonds represent is more money than I would make in 50 lifetimes, although I have to be totally honest and let the cat out of the bag by telling you that I have already started my third million. The first two failed miserably.

It seems to me like it was an insider's job. How else would you be able to lay your hands on such a treasure in just 3 minutes? It usually takes a lot more time to find the location of where the valuables are hidden and how to get to it, unless you have a treasure map and all the necessary tools to quickly retrieve it.

I also suspect it took quite some planning ahead of time, which shows once more that the thieves had to know the ins and outs of the event in detail. That is probably also why they came to the conclusion it would take 8 of them to pull off this robbery.

I am aware of the fact that the only stupid question is a question that is not asked, but this one comes close: CNN: How did thieves get the diamonds? Well, how do you think they got them? By using their hands to reach out and grab them, of course.

It was a steal!
