Yahoo!: Texas governor signs bill key to $2 billion water plan

That is good news for all the farmers out there who have been trying so hard to raise crops in spite of the drought. It sure would make life a little easier for them and it might even prompt more people to do some farming of their own.

The water plan opens the door to more then yielding good crops; it has the potential to increase the profits and that is always welcome. Keeping a farm up and running is not an easy task and normally the needed farm equipment puts a huge dent in the often already tight budget.

It doesn't have to be that way. Farmers can cut themselves some slack by looking for farm machinery and equipment which doesn't require paying top dollar for it. There is plenty of used farm machinery up for grabs which is not nearly as expensive and gets the job done just as well.

I think the governor of Texas did an excellent job by signing this bill. It will turn out to be a good investment. You can bet the farm on that!
