CNET: Become a 3D-printed Predator trophy at Comic-Con

This is no joke; you can get an actual 3D print of your head placed in the armored hands of the creature that made its appearance in the original Predator movies. Some may call it cool, while others may think it is a little morbid. You can't deny the fact though that it is a wonder of technology.

The company that offers these prints would have made a good move by stocking up on HP ink cartridges. My guess is that there are many takers and those prints drain the cartridges before you know it. I suspect they already anticipated that and ensured they were covered.

That is no big deal these days and doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg either. A lot of money can be saved by ordering recycled ink cartridges. Those are available for pretty much any HP printer model and their high quality equals that of the ones you buy new.

Even if they would have thought of it the last minute, they would still be sitting pretty. Orders placed at Castle Ink ship the same day and since their order is likely to be over $39 there are no shipping fees attached on deliveries in the United States.

You will not have to worry about your 3D image going out of print. The only thing you got to worry about is making it to the Comic-Con in time if you want to lay your hands on one. Or have the Predator lay its hand on you, as the case may be!
