CBS: Paula Deen's upcoming book nixed by publisher

From the moment this attack on Paula Deen started, I tried to keep my mouth shut and decided to wait until common sense would take over. That seems to be a wasted effort and I can no longer stand it. Sorry, but I find it ridiculous to hold someone accountable over something they said 30 years ago.

Right of the bat; the lifestyle, social acceptance, common values, and habits, were totally different from the present day. Second; if Paula has to suffer for words mentioned in her past then we better get ready, because many of us may have a thing or two coming.

There may be more on the menu then we anticipate and the majority of us could be served with something on their plate which is hard to digest these days. I better correct the latter since it doesn't even reach the digestive system. It is chewed up and spit out in your face.

The next thing I come across is CNN: Can we forgive Paula Deen? That query is a day late and a dollar short. When this whole crusade started the question should have been posed if we even ought to hold her accountable for words uttered decades ago. There would have been only one answer to that.
