CBS: Old Man Winter arrives early in much of northern U.S.; more coming

What? Are you kidding me? We knew he would be coming soon, but that old geezer wasn't supposed to get here this early. He must have snuck into the country when we least expected it and while we had our backs turned.

He probably found an illegal way in and is not only giving us a chill and sicknesses we could do without, but creating chaos as well. He somehow managed to obtain a driver's license, took it to the roads and is enjoying his new found freedom.

There is not much we can do about it. We have to contend with his presence and make the best of it. We can only hope he will get out as quickly and unexpectedly as he got in. Not that it matters much; we are still left with a mess to clean up after his exit.

I don't suppose we can count on Old Man Winter to fall ill and be out of commission for a while. Even if he did, he would be up and about in a jiffy. Yeah, he would be able to find the means making the unaffordable care act affordable.

Griping and complaining doesn't do us any good. It is better to take the dealt lemons and make lemonade. At least those contain a lot of vitamin C and might protect us from all the ailments that come with these low temperatures.

We sure will need it. As the headline indicates; there is more coming. Don't waste your time wondering why, because that is quite obvious.

Old Man Winter is in his element!
