CNN: China bans Gaga ... and Backstreet Boys?

I honestly don't have a clue why China would be considering banning the Backstreet Boys. Frankly, I didn't even know the band still existed and maybe that is why the Chinese have a beef with the band; they are no longer Backstreet Boys, but Backstreet Men.

However, that wouldn't be the same and the band would have to convince 'Everybody' again that 'We’ve Got it' and they would 'Just Want You To Know' they are still 'Larger Than Life'. Nah, I don't think the name is the issue.

All joking aside; it so turns out that many songs are banned from websites due to being 'unapproved or unregistered' and it seems to 'have disturbed the online music market order and endangered national cultural safety'.

Okay, I buy that, but I could also totally understand if they would ban Lady Gaga for real; not everyone is accustomed to wearing their food and the crowd may just go wild when she shows up on stage in her sushi dress!
