MSNBC: More than half of US in drought

This post brought to you by Scotts®. All opinions are 100% mine.

That is no good, especially not when you are trying to maintain a garden. I have experienced first hand how my gorgeous, flowering plants died and shriveled to nothing due to lack of water during a hot, dry summer. The only way to sustain them is watering them constantly and who has got the time for that?

I would do wisely to prevent that this year by mixing Expand ‘n Gro™ in with our native soil. That will significantly improve the soil for several years, feeds plants up to 6 months, yields up to 3 times the flowers and vegetables compared to soil without it, and the all natural fibers hold up to 50% more water then basic potting soil, because this concentrated planting mix expands up to 3 times when water is added.

Whether potted, or planted straight into the ground, that would certainly give our plants what they need and easily carry them through the summer without having to that dread a dry spell will wipe them out. You can try out this unique blend of Miracle-Gro plant food and coconut coir fiber by leaving a comment on this post and become eligible to receive a sample size.

Check out Miracle-Gro® Expand ‘n Gro™ Concentrated Planting Mix and find out for yourself how simple and easy it is to prep your garden for the spring and summer seasons. It doesn't take much hauling either due to the compact, lightweight, easy‐to‐carry and easy‐to‐store bags and it can be purchased in lawn and garden retailers in the Midwest, Northeast, Texas, and at Amazon.com. You can also visit expandngro.com for in-store availability information. You and your plants both will enjoy and reap the benefits!
