MSNBC: Sit fewer than 3 hours a day, live longer
This post brought to you by Kia Rio. All opinions are 100% mine.
A great way of getting active is getting engaged in a scavenger hunt to and through Los Angeles like the Zip and Dash which was created by Kia. The goal was to follow clues, complete challenges and find celebrity Christina Milian.
Two pairs of best friends went on this geocache challenge in a 2012 Kia Rio 5-door and took advantage of this car's awesome and state of the art features such as the latest Bluetooth system, USB input jack, navigation, rear camera display and much more, as you can see on the Rio Explorer Page.
Equipped with the latest UVO Technology this challenge was made a lot easier. At least that was my opinion after watching the following video and seeing how those great features were put to good use. I sure would like to hear yours and you can do so by leaving a comment on this post.
The navigation piqued my interest, because I lack every sense of direction and I am sure I would not have found the 5 locations which the contestants had to find and visit without it.
They had to go to The Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round and answer questions, scour the popular, historic music store Amoeba Records and find a hidden Christina Milian DC, count all the palm trees on Rodeo Drive, clean their plates at Pink's Hot Dogs, where hot dogs named after Hollywood celebrities are served, to find their next clue and then rush to The Roosevelt Hotel in the middle of Hollywood Blvd and find Christina.
In my opinion, this scavenger hunt was an excellent way of getting a bird's eye view of the city, although I thought trying to find that CD at Amoeba Records seemed the most difficult challenge.
That made it more interesting though, because finding their way through Los Angeles in this Kia Rio was a snap!
