Fox News: Consumer Income, Spending Rise in September

I am truly surprised to read this and I sure hope that is true. It must be, since I am told that they can't put anything on the Internet that isn't true. If the consumer has already spent more in September than businesses can probably look forward to a very profitable December.

That should give the economy a big boost, but I fear there are some entrepreneurs who might miss out on some good business. Many people will use the benefits of the www and do their Holiday shopping online from the comforts of their home.

In spite of what you may think or expect, not all business owners who offer their merchandise over the internet take advantage of all the means available to make the visit to their website lucrative. There are still some who do not, will not, or can not accept credit cards.

I am not sure why they shy away from this very useful ecommerce feature. Maybe they just dread having to compare their options or don't have a clue what to look for in which case this link would be extremely helpful.

There is no doubt in my mind they have an option to accept credit cards in their actual store through services from Capital One or Bank of America for instance. Why not online? My recommendation would be to do so. You might be surprised how quickly it could increase the profits.

It could turn every day into Christmas!
