NBC: New Hampshire school bans the game of tag

I can't help it, but it seems like the world has reached a point of ridicule. What is so wrong with this child's play that it has to be banned? Is there anything children can play these days that doesn't get them expelled or suspended?

They sure can't play cowboys and Indians anymore and they better leave their toy soldiers at home in order to avoid huge trouble. They are being limited in their creativity since even a 'Bomb cartoon gets special-needs student suspended', as Fox News reported.

I can only see that leading to more bans. Soon, the Scottish will be demanding at least a name change of the game 'hop-scotch' and Simon says he will get a court order to prevent his name from being used ever again.

A thumb war is totally out of the question and Red Rover will be prohibited from joining his team in no time. The environmentalists will get on the band wagon when it comes to duck, duck, goose and swat the fly to name a few.

After jumping through all those hoops to ensure all those games are no longer allowed to be played, what is there left for our kids to do? Oh, I just thought of something they can do; they can beat boredom by sitting on the couch and playing their video games.

How healthy, non-violent, and educational are those?!
